Sorry, it has been awhile since I have published one of these. I have been taking this malaria prevention medication, and it has been wreaking havoc on my mental state for the past four or so weeks. But I’m back, but not better. So here are the days prayer points:

Pray for the Berber, Atta people of Morocco. There are 131,000 people, and no known evangelical Christians. Their main religion is Islam.

Pray for me and my mental state. I need to get over this ASAP, as it is not boding well for my relationship with my girlfriend, and my relationships with others.

Pray for continued healing for the lady in my church that just recently had a back surgery.

Pray for Sonfest once again, our church’s big annual, outreach.

Frequently we go around, hypothesizing about situations with the common phrase “What if”. Alot of the times, these what ifs, while they may  be realistic, are highly unlikely. Like, “What if I get hit by a bus?” (spoken in the middle of a desert). The flip side, in the Christian world, are the “If onlys”. These things, that are realistic, and could very likely be achievable, but never happen. This makes me think back to Romans 8:30 “What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” And we know that with God, ALL things are possible. So this is my list of “What ifs”. Feel free to add your own in the comments. These could all be attained, if we, the body of Christ as a whole, come together. Also, as my pastor pointed out last night, these can’t be separated from the Gospel message, or they are nothing.

1. What if every Christian was concerned with the evangelization of the world?

2. What if the glory of God was the focus of every Christian’s life?

3. What if we gave more than received?

4. What if the church truly cared for the poor, and the widows?

5. What if, instead of arguing over “trivial” things such as the pre-wrath rapture position, we came together and agreed that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and the only way to Heaven, no strings attached. (I use trivial in the sense as not as important as the Gospel message)

6. What if every person in the church was involved in some aspect of ministry within the church?

7. What if every church returned to the truth of the Gospel, instead of “What ideas can I come up with today?”

8. What if the church saw each other as brothers and sisters in Christ?

9. What if church planted church, and continued doing so?

10. What if we seriously cared about the unreached people of the world?

11. What if we truly desired to have the Bible in every language?

12. What if we committed to live as Christ did, on a daily basis?

13. What if we weren’t complacent with sin?

14. What if we died to ourself on a daily basis?

15. What if we truly let God use us?

1. Jino people of China. Out of 27,000 people, only 2% are Evangelical Christians. They practice various ethnic religions. Pray that God would raise up a qualified linguist to translate the Bible for them. Pray for a strong church to develop within the group. Pray that God would soften their hearts to the message of Jesus Christ.

2. Pray for the pastor at my church as he begins his new Wednesday night series “Burning Questions”. He will be facing some tough questions, pray that God would give him wisdom and revelation.

3. SonFest. This is my church’s biggest outreach of the year. Pray that people in the church would have a heart to serve in this event. Pray that the people of our community would become curious, and come to SonFest to see the love of Christ.

1. The Gujjar people of Pakistan. They are an unreached people group of 2,299,000 people, with 0.00% claiming to be evangelical Christians. The main religion is Islam. Pray that God would raise up people to spread the love of Christ to these desperate people.

2. Upcoming elections. Pray that God’s will would be done. Pray that the church would submit to the authority of whoever wins, despite our likenesses.

3. The Church. Pray that the church would have a desire for more of Him and more of His word daily.

4. The Pastors of the Church. Pray that God would work through them mightily, and that His words would be their words. Pray that they seek God with all they have, desiring to lead His people to the throne.

This is my first “Daily Prayer Points”. Everyday (hopefully) I will post three or four things that I will attempting to keep in prayer throughout the day. I invite all to join with me in intercession and prayer. One never knows what will happen.

1. Bambara people of Mali. They are classified as an unreached people group, with only 1.13% of the 3, 497, 000 people claiming to be evangelical Christians. The dominant religion amongst them is Islam. Pray that Christ would reveal Himself through dreams and revelations, boldness for the believers in the country to share their faith, and the growth of churches. 2. A lady in my church that is recovering from a third back surgery. Pray for a complete and thorough healing, an increase in her faith and strength, and strength for her children and husband.

3. The Church. Pray that the church today would return to Christ and His word. Pray that through the church, the evangelization of the world would be complete.

Hey y’all, it has been awhile since I have posted on here. But, soon and very soon, I will be posting a lengthy blog on my trip to Mexico.
